To say that today was eventful would be a bit of an understatement...
We woke up to a burst pipe on our hot water heater and a flooded bedroom in the basement. Not exactly what we wanted to be doing at 7am. However,we are very thankful that we found it before we left...and didn't return home to a flooded entire basement!
Then, our portable DVD player broke. Those of you with children probably understand the gravity of this. When traveling with children, this little device is a lifesaver. Ok, maybe not a lifesaver...but a sanity saver =) Regardless, we all made it here to VA with no problems. After 8 hours to Florida a week ago, 3 hours seemed like a piece of cake today!
Then, tonight, one of our leaders had a seizure and was taken by ambulance to the emergency room. She cut her head open during the seizure and had to get some stitches. They are still in the hospital as of 10pm tonight. We don't know a whole lot at this point...so please pray for Anna.
Also, since today was such an crazy day, please pray for protection for the rest of the week. Thank you!

Jen, tell everyone we are praying for them. We miss Student Life so much this year. We miss alot of things about the youth group. We had such a great time last year in FL. I'm sure everyone will have a fantastic time. Tell everyone hi.
We are praying for Anna and the group .... may the Lord's presence be felt in a mighty way in the hearts of the teens who are there and with Anna and her family.
Wow! I am so glad you guys made it to VA safely. We will pray for the rest of the week!
