Jeremiah's parents, sister, and our niece and nephew are trekking up 95 today.
My dad and two of my brothers are trekking down 95 today.
They will meet in the middle here at the farm sometime around dinnertime.
(I have a yummy dinner planned of pulled bbq chicken sandwhiches, pasta salad, baked beans, watermelon, corn on the cob, and brownies...but I digress.)
The reason for the visits?
I'm so glad you asked =)
They are coming to watch us skydie, I mean skydive, tomorrow.
(Hence the reason for the good eating tonight...I might as well pig out in case I die tomorrow!)
Yikes! Is that tomorrow?!
Also on the schedule for this weekend is a visit to the members only preview opening of The Dinosaur Trail at the Museum of Life and Science. And a cookout with our Haiti team for our last meeting before our trip.
So exciting.
Somewhere in the midst of all this I also need to pack us up for our departure to Student Life Camp on Monday. That would involve laundry...not so exciting =)
Check back in later this weekend for pictures of our skydiving adventure!
