Snow in North Carolina.
Before Christmas.
Technically, even before the official start of Winter.
Even if it is only a little bit.
Ok, even if it is only an inch...
It is still amazing!
Every good snow day calls for a big family breakfast...
Then, of course, the piling on of the layers...
Just push them boots on (even if it makes them cry!!!)
This little cutie is ready...
Who needs a sled when you've got a plastic pool...
Heck, who needs a sled at all...
The path around the pond seems almost magical in the snow...
Time to warm up with some hot chocolate...

Glad to hear you all got another Christmas present with the snow. At home they have a foot and it is still snowing.. your drive to Roanoke could be interesting . We had some snow tonite here in Bulgaria... makes it feel more like Christmas..but we wish we home for the big one there...
No snow here in Raleigh...just a few flurries followed by yucky cold rain. Glad you guys had a fun morning in your snow!!
it was so much fun keeping them last night and watching ella light up every time she looked outside. Brought back that kid in me reminding me how exciting it is to watch it snow!
Oh so jealous! We did have some really beautiful big flakes...for about 30 minutes=)
