I pulled it together just in time for Halloween.
Shew. Close one.
Here is the amazing costume for Ezra that I spent hours and hours and hours on and way toooo much money on...
Amazing, huh.
In all fairness I did wrangle together a penguin costume for him...only to discover that Ella isn't my only opinionated child.
Oh no.
Ezra refused to wear it.
Flat out.
He did, however, rather enjoy carrying around his pumpkin.
Kinda matched his pumpkin shirt and pumpkin belly.
As you can see from the photo, Ella was quite pleased with herself as Princess Leona.
No ugly pumpkin for her to carry around...a matching purple purse was the candy holding accessory of choice...
And while they were so excited to go to the party and ride the ponies and play the games and slide the slides and get the candy...I decided it would be the perfect opportunity to try and get a picture of them sitting sweetly together.
Yeah. You know where this is going.
Take two.
Oh well.
There is always next year.

If they are not the cutiest princess and pumpkin...thanks for sharing the pics.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH I love the humor in this post. You are so funny, Jen. So sorry that the penguin was a no go...I bet that would have been cute! They are both adorable...even if they won't sit still for that 'sitting' photo op!
Haha! I won't even tell you how long Emma Lee and I had a "discussion" about her taking her pumpkin to put her candy in. She was VERY upset because it didn't match and she really wanted to take her pink doll suitcase, which just wasn't going to work at all. She finally gave in when I told her that was fine she didn't have to take her pumpkin, she could go without anything and just not get any candy.
