I blame pinterest for this most recent project.

We turned the space behind the kids swingset into a garden/play area for them.

It was basically just a barren wasteland of weeds and leftover rocks from the previous owners and was most definitely a safety hazard for my children who have discovered that they can jump off of their swings while in mid-air.

Barren wasteland, no more. It now boasts a chalkboard, rock pit, tunnel and road-building materials, flowers, and a spot for a future fairy house...
