Do everything without complaining or arguing.
Philippians 2:14

com-plain {kuh-m-pleyn}
(verb)
1. to express dissatisfaction, pain, uneasiness, censure, resentment, or grief; find fault
2. to tell of ones pains or ailments
3. to make a formal accusation

This a verse that I need to nail directly to my body.
Not that I ever have a problem with complaining or complaining children.
Ahem.

And because I have learned that its not just enough to "will yourself" to stop complaining or remind your children for the 1,342,592nd time to not complain: one must replace the habit or desire to complain with its antonym...

re-joice {ri-jois}
(verb)
1. to be glad
2. take delight in

So, if we are to do EVERYTHING without complaining...
we should do EVERYTHING with rejoicing.

I'm working on my own, rather lengthy, list.

What do you need to stop complaining about and start rejoicing in?

Poor Zoe has a list all her own to work on.
