that my older sister, Laura Jeane, and I (we were great partners in crime growing up!) found the Christmas present hiding spot and peeked at ALL the gifts...
that was a rather disappointing year.
We never peeked again.
Have any of you ever ruined your own Christmas surprise?

I have never peeked on purpose(I did see a gift by accident once), but I have ALWAYS been accused of it. However, I do LOVE to shake the wrapped ones and try to figure out what they are!!
Oh yeah, I'll never forget the Christmas that I stayed awake. I looked out my bedroom window and saw my dad bringing in the toys. :-( I tried to talk myself of seeing them, as if that were possible. That was a sad Christmas for me.
Oh yeah, and it was the most depressing Christmas day EVER!!! My mom always kept our presents in her closet and I saw something that I thought was for me and it was actually for my sister...
Talk about disappointing!
Oh yes, I have been a peeker from way back! I still peek if given half a chance!! oops I think I have confessed!
