I have written about the "flock of thieves" we discovered...
I have also mentioned that we have a very well-fed possum that indulges in thieve-el-ry as well.
Let me add another chapter to this oh so interesting book...
We discovered a SKUNK chowing down last night!
I would like to say we discovered it by seeing it...
Nope.
We smelled it.
It sprayed the possum =)

Wow! So...why didn't you go out the door to take that skunk picture?? ;)
That is just crazy!! But, I guess you get all kinds of animals out there in the country!
That is the funniest thing I've read lately. And you thought a bunch of teenage boys smelled bad! I'm reminded of a few of the reasons that you live out there and not me.
We have had problems with raccons and other "city" animals eating our cats' food. Have you tried putting the catfood out only from morning to noon or midday?
oohhh no! That scent will be around a while! ewwwww!
We had a scent here for about 2 weeks...something must have died under the house! We could not find it, but could tell it was somewhere under our bathroom. We think it was up in the insulation under the flooring. 82 degrees for a couple days now and the scent is FINALLY gone. PTL!!
nature is amazing
yucko!!! that skunk looks like it needs a hair cut! i smelled a skunk on the way to school today and thought of you guys. the smell up close to your house is a lot different than driving by it! i hope it has gone away!
