Ezra is in a throwing stage.
He throws. Everything.
The laundry basket (and Ella's barbies) down the stairs.
His cars and trains across the room.
His food off his high chair.
His pillows from his bed.
And so on and so forth.
Of course, this is not acceptable to us. We discipline him for throwing. We take him outside and throw a ball with him to show him what is appropriate to throw. Consistently.
He still throws. Everything.
Is this a stage?
A boy thing?
Perhaps a boy stage?
Anybody have a thrower and what worked to help teach them appropriate things and times to throw.

Hey Jenn,I know of other kids who were in the throwing stage, and it was only a stage for a short time! I will be praying as u all go through this! :)
Oh my goodness, Rye is doing the same thing. Course it's mainly throwing punches at my ribs at this point but i think he might also be throwing caution to the wind hard to tell from my persepective. ok, that's the extent of my being able to relate. I mainly just read your blog and then picture myself in 2 years. ;)
i am going to call you soon, i swear. sorry i'm so bad about keeping in touch.
I am so glad to have found your blog (this is Lindseys sister, Laura)! It is so good to connect with other ET adoptive families. Have you for sure chosen Ethiopia? I look forward to keeping up with your adoption journey! We will be praying for you guys!
