Below you are about to see a sight so rare here in the Hambrick household that Jeremiah felt the need to capture it on camera.
Please excuse the quality of the photo (or the subject in the photo) for Jeremiah felt that the element of surprise was vital in order to ensure that the subject didn't flee the scene. Or stop what she was doing.
Yes. I actually cracked out the ironing board and iron. A thing I have only done maybe a handful of times in our seven years of marriage.
(ok, that is being generous. maybe 4 times.)

Haha! I hear ya! We don't even own an iron. Shhhhhhh!
Alright so share your secret...pull stuff straight from the dryer or what?!?!
When we got the kids' Upward stars (that have to be ironed on), Tim said, "Do we HAVE an iron?" My fabulous husband pays a girl to clean my house, yay!
I had to read the whole post before I figured out what that was in your hand!! does that tell you anything!? I am with you girl!
that is what dryers are for! ;-)
I have been known to use my flatiron for my hair on a collar or two in my time!
but the thing I despise the most is BATHROOMS! blah!
I hate weeding the flower beds and this year in particular, I haven't even gotten to look at them with the things inside we are trying to accomplish! The weeds look me in the eye right now. I'm looking forward to fall so that I can clean everything out all at once and put pumpkins, mums & cornstalks out. =) And...I hate cleaning the basement. Spiderwebs and mammmoth spiders.
Toilets...I never iron either. I use the dryer. I am actually so bad that if the clothes don´t get folded in time and they are wrinkled I will pull the clothes out of the basket that it doesn´t matter if they stay wrinkled and will REWASH the rest :) How´s that for being green ;)
cracks me up! I'm the same way...I hate ironing!!!
I DESPISE me some ironing! Not good for a woman whose husband wears at least 3 dress shirts per week!
Folding laundry. Somehow I manage to get it all washed and even hung up outside to dry. After that I lose momentum and I begin dressing the kids from the clean stash piled up on the couch or in the laundry basket:)
I don't dispise Ironing-- cause i simply don't. It's the dishes that get me. And I think because I hate doing them so much- God has seen fit to allow me to live in homes that nary a dishwasher could ever fit. sigh... so be it
dishes agreed. but really, who likes any type of housework/chores? crazy people, that's who. I need to get me a crazy person then i guess.... hehehee
Despise having to clean our 3 bathrooms but ironing love it. I do it every single day. We have 4 children and I work full time but I'm completely addicted to freshly ironed clothes!! I love your blog!
