once upon a (rest)time

I found this story in Ella's journal that she writes in during her "rest" time...

Here's the translation:

Once upon a time there was a little girl.
Her name was Ella Hambrick.
She loved doing school.
But one day her mom said she could not do school.
She cried so much that then Ella's mom changed her mind.
The End.

Oh Jenn, that is So. Precious. What a great little storyteller!!! I love how she started it "Once Upon a time." That is really, really awesome! I am so glad you found that and was able to capture that memory!!

Okay, my favorite part is the very DRAMATIC slump in the chair!;) So sweet!

Once upon a time there was a little girl I loved so much and her name was Ella Hambrick!!! What a great story. I especially like the fact that when she cried, her mom changed her mind. And the picture is priceless.

We had a "Mom, please can we do school now? week this week. The boys sucked the life out of me and home school got pushed to the side. So glad for my little go getter that demanded some learning time.

That is so sweet, Jenn!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the picture of her hanging in agony out of the chair. And great job to Ella for her writing. I read the whole thing without your translation! :)
