We got a few new pictures of Chala this week...more recent pictures. His hair has really grown and his cheeks look chunkier! I know I let out an audible "awww" when I saw them.
We are hosting a group of Grey Stone's 9th and 10th grade boys this weekend for Metamorphosis (a d-now weekend). This will be our 3rd year having the boys at the farm and after each year I always say this will be our last year. 9th and 10th grade boys are just stinky. But I really believe in these boys and investing in their lives. The group we are having are the boys that were just coming up into the youth group as skinny 6th graders when we first came to Grey Stone. Time flies. Need to add air freshener to my grocery list.
We are starting to think about kids room arrangement. Currently Ella and Ezra share a room and we had always said we would just get bunk beds and keep all three children in the same room. However, Ella has developed a very different sleeping schedule than Ezra and we are starting to think about moving her to her own room and making Ezra's room the boys room. Those extra air fresheners will come in handy if we go this route.
Ella had her preschool choir performance last night. I really wasn't sure which way she was going to go knowing her personality...deer in the headlights vs. hamming it up? Surprisingly, she was neither and seemed to really enjoy herself. She did take her costume hat off in the middle of the performance. But it didn't really match her outfit so who could blame her.
Happy Thursday!
