This January while at Passion 2010 in Atlanta with our college students Jeremiah and I had the opportunity to walk through the World Vision Experience: AIDS.
This is a 2,500 square foot interactive exhibit where visitors can "step into Africa" by hearing, seeing and walking through an African village to personally experience the lives of children affected by AIDS.
It was an incredible jolt of perspective.
We were excited to recently learn that Durham was on the World Vision tour and I wanted to make sure to encourage those of you who live in the Raleigh/Durham area to make it a point to take an afternoon to visit and go through the experience yourself.
Here are a few details:
Where: Durham YMCA
When: Now thru May 2nd
Cost: Free (but encouraged to make a reservation)
For reservations and all the details click here.
