We didn't pass.
We have been told it is because his surviving relative showed up - without any identification. Other than that his case file is fine. Our new court date is scheduled for April 16th, next Friday.
Obviously, we are disappointed.
But. We are trusting God and his timing.

I must have checked your blog 20 times today to see if you had heard. I'm sorry this is the news I read, I was looking forward to a picture. You're right, God's timing is perfect. I am praying for next Friday to be the day.

Ohhh Jennifer. So sorry. We will keep holding our collective breath and hoping for next week for you. We are just hoping for an initial court date! :)
