Psalm 18:1-2
I love you, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer.
My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge;
My shield and the strength of my salvation, my stronghold.
I love when the Lord reminds me that he is exactly what I need when I am feeling most like things are out of control.
I love that I don't need to ask him to draw near to me...
...he is already here.
I just need to draw on all he has provided me in Himself.
I really needed that reminder this morning as this week is off to a crazy start already.
After a visit to the local minute clinic this morning, they confirmed what we already knew...Jeremiah has strep. Poor thing. When he gets strep...he gets strep!
A much needed vacation to visit with Jeremiah's family in Florida and a possible funeral trip to Maryland were already in the plans for this week. Adding his sickness into the mix just makes it a little more fun =)
Good thing I don't have to rely on my strength.

I'm so sorry Jenn! Don't get overwhelmed...those anti-biotics will kick in and Jeremiah will be a new man...just in time for your trip. Hang in there!
Awe, I hope you're still able to come...And that he keeps the bugs to himself... And that the drugs kill them quickly :)
